


Hello, my name is Beth and I am offering climbing sessions for girls and young women. The aim of these sessions is to encourage the fantastic benefits of climbing for our mental well-being. I am a climbing coach with over 8 years of coaching experience. I hold Rock Climbing Instructor and Climbing Wall Development Instructor qualifications as well as, Mental Health First Aid Level 2 and First Aid Level 3.
Why climbing?
Climbing has great benefits for our physical wellbeing; but it also has many benefits for our mental wellbeing, these include:
- Boosting self-confidence and self-esteem through accomplishing goals and overcoming fears
- Providing positive social interactions and reducing isolation
- Dealing with failure and learning from it
- Mindfulness
- Being physically active
What am I offering?
One-to-one or one-to-two personalised coaching sessions for girls and young women aged 8-21; offered at any climbing wall within an hour of Southampton, or further afield at an additional cost.
I believe in making these sessions accessible and therefore I am keeping costs as low as possible. For this reason, initial sessions will only cost the price of wall entry; and further sessions can be arranged at a cost appropriate to the situation.
